East Caribbean Flour Mills
East Caribbean Flour Mills (ECFM) began operating on December 11, 1977, and is the first of the ECGC companies to be established. Remaining true to the founding vision, the ECFM provides the best quality flour from the best quality wheat available.
Our Flours are unbleached and enriched with vitamins and iron. These formulations contribute to a better nutritional blend and good health. Our major brands are Cream of the Islands, Nelson and CariGold for bakers’ flour, and various brands of packaged white and whole-wheat flour, including the Easy Bake, Purity and CariGold brands. Our commitment to excellence extends beyond providing quality flour but also involves maintaining close relationships with our customers and providing technical support from our home-based laboratory.
East Caribbean Rice Mills
East Caribbean Rice Mills (ECRM) produce top quality parboiled, white and brown rice. Commencing operations on June 23, 1988, with its reputation for quality, the ECRM became one of the few manufacturing companies to produce Uncle Ben’s Rice under contract for Master Foods InterAmerica. ECRM was divested and now ECGC distributes brands that have become household names throughout the Caribbean and particularly in the OECS. These brands include Three Jewels, Carib Pearl, Natural Diamond, and CariGold.
East Caribbean Feeds limited
East Caribbean Feeds Limited (ECFL), established in 1981, produces nutritional feeds for poultry, pigs, beef, dairy, rabbits, equine and small ruminants. The mill was originally viewed as a means to utilize the by-products from flour production. However, the ECFL’s importance is now firmly cemented as approximately 55% of production is exported to the Eastern Caribbean.
The introduction of the Feed Mill has significantly and positively impacted the poultry farming industry in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. With the availability of a wide variety of top quality animal feeds, this has encouraged many farmers to expand their operations, which in turn has resulted in a greater supply of high-quality, fresh poultry and other animal products to consumers.
East Caribbean Beverages Incorporated
East Caribbean Beverages Incorporated (ECBI) produces soft drinks under the Ju-C brand, purified water and an energy drink, Village Ram. The newest addition to the East Caribbean Group of Companies was made possible after the acquisition of the assets of Bottlers, St. Vincent Limited in March 2014. ECBI has quickly gained brand recognition and continues to produce national favourites for customers of all ages.
